www.YourGreatAbs.com How to get a flat stomach fast as revealed by sexy Hollywood model.

Most people believe that doing ab exercises will help you lose your belly fat. Well most people are wrong. Ab specific exercises only tone and strengthen your ab muscles.

This is the problem that most people have about losing stomach fat and getting that flat stomach. They are doing the wrong exercises to accomplish their goal. To really lose that belly fat you need to concentrate on a full body stategic workout that will increase your metabolic rate and fat burning hormonal response.

A cardio workout alone will not necassarily accomplish your goal of increased metabolic rate and fat burning hormonal response. You should have a workout program that focuses on working your whole body with resistance training and multi-joint exercises with high intensity.

Now combine this full body high intensity workout with a healthy diet and you are on your way to a flat sexy stomach. This is a plan that will work so you can stop doing your crunches, leg raisies and other abdonimal exercises to try and lose your belly fat.

Now you should still do ab exercises so you can tone and strengthen your ab muscles. By having a strong core you can achieve other fitness goals like a healthy back and good posture. But by doing these exercises only, you will not burn any fat off your stomach.

Another perk of the full body workout is that most of the exercises are indirectly working on the abs and your core due to the stabilization required in some of the exercises.

Remember to combine your full body workout with a healthy and balanced diet and you will start to see the belly fat go away.

Consult a professional trainer to get a good full body workout and show you how to do each exercise correctly.

Ab Exercises to Lose Belly Fat

Many times, the best ab exercises aren’t the type of exercise you’d expect, nor are they always performed lying on your back. Are you ready for 3 of the top abs exercises that’d you’d never expect? Here goes:

1) High Dumbell Squats

2) Cradle Stiff Leg Deadlifts

3) Dumbbell Shadow Boxer

High Dumbell Squats- The purpose of this exercise is to use fairly heavy dumbbells and old them at shoulder height. The dumbbells serve 2 purposes: 1) to through off stabilization during the squat 2) engage your abs and obliques to work extra in order to provide balance. If you use a nice heavy dumbbell, this will activate your abs like no other exercise. Once you have the dumbbells at shoulder height, perform a regular squat.

Cradle Stiff Leg Deadlift – This exercise is much like a regular stiff leg dead lift, except you will be “cradling” the bar in front of your body within the creases of your elbows. Make sure you keep your back straight, knees slightly bent, and your abs tight at all times. Begin with a moderate weight and increase the poundage as necessary. This is a Killer ab exercise.

Shadow Boxer – This is very similar to shadow boxing, except you will be holding a dumbbell in each hand. Use a moderately light weight as it is very taxing on your arms. Aim for a point directly in front of your nose, and begin “boxing” by alternating each arm. Try to keep your hips locked squarely facing forward.

The rep schemes for the High Dumbell squats should be in the 8-12 range. I’d recommend doing this particular exercise as a stand alone, while the other 2 can be grouped together with other abs exercises.

For the Cradle Leg Deadlift, keep the reps around 8-10, and the Shadow Boxer, you should perform for time intervals of 20-45 seconds. Make sure you use a light weight to ensure you’re able to isolate your abs during this exercise.

After finishing each exercise, you can move immediately into the next, or rest for 20-30 seconds and repeat for 3-4 sets total.

This will give you one of the best ab workouts there is without having to get on the floor. You can use these as your main program, or throw them in with your current ab routine to spice things up!

Abdominal fat – abs training helps you lose belly fat but not in and of itself. When it comes to abdominal fat many people exercise for vain reasons. Losing belly fat is not only about looking good it is also necessary to be healthy. The best way of developing great abs as well as a tighter midsection is to engage in a comprehensive work out plan. Here are some tips on abdominal fat abs training to lose belly fat.

Tip No. 1: Posture Improvement

Poor posture is a common problem with many people. When you slouch it makes your stomach look bigger. Correct posture ought to be as follows. Your ears should be aligned over your shoulders; shoulders should be aligned over hips, hips over the knees, and knees over the ankles when you want to walk properly. The result is that you actually look slimmer without even going to the gym. In actuality because you improve your posture you also improve your ability to breath and this leads to increased energy.

Tip No. 2: Pilates

Pilates is recommended as an intelligent way of using the abdominals as well as arms, legs, and back muscles. It focuses on developing the rectus abdominis by which we mean the top abdominal muscle layer. It also pays attention to the internal as well as the external obliques. Altogether, this is considered as slow, high quality exercise that ensures strength and flexibility as well.

Plank: Let your hands and knees work to create what is called a push-up plank position. You are basically doing a balancing act. Put your wrists under your shoulders while you ensure that your back remains straight. Your abs should remain tight. Try to hold this position for a while then exhale.

Leg Lowers: Let the upper body be curled, your chest over ribs. Your hands should be behind your head. Lift the legs up with knees bent at 90 degrees. Keep your hips down as you gradually lower the legs toward the floor. Don’t change the bend in the knees, but simply lift them back up naturally.

Seated Rotations: Sit up, bend your knees and legs together. Your arms should be placced across your chest and tuck your tailbone. Then roll back a little as you rotate the spine right and left.

Tip No. 3: Diet and Digestion

Eat less and move more, should be your motivating mantra. You should strive to burn off more calories than you take in. That is what really helps to reduce body fat.

No matter how many ab exercises you do, if you arent able to control your diet properly, there will always be an extra fat layer around the area of your abdominals. So don’t binge, gorge or be lax with your diet. Be in control and don’t over eat. This way you lose abdominal fat abs training to lose belly fat.

Stability Ball Ab Exercises

Here are my 3 favourite stability ball ab exercises that can be done at home and will build your abdominals to give you that six pack look.

The first exercise is the stability ball rollout. So to get into starting position, kneel on a mat, with your body in an upright position and hands on the ball. Now, roll out for a count of 3 seconds, stretching your abs, and then return to the starting position by contracting your abs for a 2 second count. Perform a total of 10 repetitions for this exercise.

After the stability ball rollout, the next exercise to perform is the stability ball jackknife. There are a couple of ways this abs exercise can be done; one, with your elbows on a bench and feet on the stability ball, or alternatively, with your hands on the ground and your body in the pushup position.

For the purposes of this explanation, I am going to do it with my elbows on the bench. So to start, place your body in a plank position with your elbows on the bench and feet on the stability ball. Next, while bracing your abs, tuck your knees up to your chest and back out again. This abs exercise although very effective is not quite as hard as the stability ball rollout.

The third exercise of the stability ball triset is the plank with elbows on the ball. According to Men’s Health, this exercise is 30% harder than a regular plank with elbows on the ground. So, to get in position, place your elbows on the ball and your body in a straight line.

If you want to make this more difficult you can do a couple different things. The first is to move your elbows in front of your shoulders, and secondly, which is even harder, is to roll the ball in and out. In all scenarios, you want to hold this position for 20 seconds. For advanced levels, a 30 second hold is very good, especially after performing the previous two exercises.

Perform the above exercises for 5 minutes twice a week and combine that with the TT supersets and interval training 3 times a week and you will begin to burn belly fat and achieve that flat stomach. Here are my 3 favorite stability ball exercises for your abs.

Notice there are no stability ball crunches. I know they work your abs hard, but stability ball crunches can be hard on your back.

So we just focused on three other stability ball abs exercises that will get you great results.

Keys to getting a six pack:
You can have the greatest, most muscular set of abs in the world, but if they are blanketed by a layer of body fat, who cares. In order to rid yourself of the extra body fat around your midsection, you need to incorporate effective cardio sessions into your fitness plan. You cannot spot-reduce the midsection by doing extra ab exercises like crunches or sit-ups. You first must burn off the body fat through proper cardio to properly define the area.

Abdominal training by itself will not do much. Cardio needs to be intense enough to do the trick. Three to four sessions a week of intense jogging, running, the Stairmaster, the elliptical, jumping rope, or biking should be enough to get the process in gear. Swimming, hiking, and taking aerobics classes are beneficial as well. Nothing beats jogging or running. It is the most intense, efficient, and effective method of burning calories. If running outside hurts your joints, try running inside on a treadmill or outside on a dirt path. It definitely is easier on the body.

Again, you NEED three to four intense cardio sessions a week to help create a calorie deficit and help rid the body of the fat that covers your abs.

Proper Nutrition:

Do not sabotage your results in the gym by giving yourself a passport to pig out. Ridding the body of fat once and for all is accomplished by proper nutrition more so than incorporating cardio. At the end of the day, if you have consumed more calories than you have expended, you add body fat. So you need to burn more calories than you consume.

Nutrition is important because you can reduce the amount of calories you take in, therefore greatly having an effect on the amount which you have to expend through cardio. Eat five to six small, well-balanced meals spaced apart about every three to four hours. Try to keep something healthy on hand.

If not, when you become real hungry, you will opt for something that isn’t as good for you. When you become overly hungry, all rational thinking goes out the window.

But it is important to get something in you. Not eating on time or at all is almost as bad as eating too much. Keep protein intake high (approximately 50% of daily calories), carbs moderate (40%), and fats minimal (10%).

Muscle fiber is made of tightly-wound protein molecules that is damaged during a workout, so you need more protein than the sedentary person to help that muscle tissue repair. Carbohydrates have an important role in the body, but do not base your meals on them. Try to avoid simple sugars like cane sugar, honey, fruit juices, syrups, and even a lot of fruit.

Drink at least a gallon of clean water each day as well. It will help in nutrient absorption and digestion and will help flush toxins from the body.

Bottom line, make sure you are supplying your body with well-balanced, healthy food every three to four hours.

Weight training The Abdominals:

Here is where most people go wrong in their attempt to develop their abs. I often ask those I train, “Would you train your biceps with sets of 50 reps with no weight?” Of course, they say “no.” How about your chest, 50 reps with no weight? Another no. I then ask, “Then why would you do that with your abs?”

Here’s an important key. If you want proper ab development, you need to add resistance (weight) to your ab exercises. Abs are muscles just like biceps, triceps, pecs, glutes, whatever. You need resistance to properly strengthen and build them. The same goes for abdominals
